A. Click “Shop Now,” select your state, and find your school.
Q. How can I purchase a computer with my student discount?
A. First, check if your school is a part of the Dell University program. Click “Shop Now,” select your state, and find your school. If your school does participate, you will be given a link to your school’s shopping page.
Q. Why is my school not in the program?
A. Though the Dell University Program is made of up thousands of schools, your school has yet to participate. You can go to dell.com and shop Dell's full catalog.
A. If you think your school is already part of the Dell University Program, but does not appear in the school list please contact info@delluniversity.com.
Q: I forgot my password and log-in. How can I recover them?
A. A password and log-in was needed for the online gift registry which has been discontinued. You can now use the Wish List on our website which can be viewed by family and friends and modified by you at any time.

Q. How can I find a computer my school recommends?
A. Some schools recommend specific computers for their students and others may not. Go to your shopping page to learn if your school has a specific recommendation. A link can be found in the red “Shop Now” bar at the top of the page.
Q. What kind of software will I need on my computer?
A. Check your shopping page for recommended computers, software, and accessories.
Q. How much is the discount at Dell?
A. The discount will vary by school based on an agreement between your university and Dell. It can be as much as much as 12% off. Also, look for special discounts and promotions on our website’s Offers page.
Q: Is a computer required for school?
A. Contact your university to determine if a computer is required for your study.
Q: I am going in circles on the website. Why have I hit a dead end?

Wish List

Q: How can I update my Wish List?
A. When using the same computer you used to set up your Wish List, you should be able to pull up your With List by going to that section of the site. From there, you can add or delete items and send out emails to friends and family. If you created your Wish List on another computer, or you cleared your cookies, you will have to create your Wish List again.
